#2023TBHLM Community Briefing & Panel Discussion
Join us for a Community Pre-Briefing and Panel Discussion on September 20th, 2023, as we gather together with a shared objective: to align as a strong and connected community ahead of the upcoming United Nations High-Level Meeting on Tuberculosis (HLM). This event serves as a pivotal moment to foster community coordination and support for ongoing initiatives that are intricately linked to the HLM's goals.
The day will commence with an hour dedicated to welcoming attendees and addressing logistical aspects pertinent to the UN HLM on TB agenda taking place on 22 September 2023. Following this, we'll hear directly from diverse voices within our community, showcasing and seeking support for their impactful work in alignment with the #2023TBHLM. Lastly we will close with an exciting and thought-provoking panel discussion (1Hr), featuring notable authors John Green, Maria Smilios, Vidya Krishnan, and Handaa Enkh-Amgalan, all of whom will be present in NYC for the HLM. This panel discussion will be moderated by TB survivors.
